Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
Special Feature in 1000 Views on 1 Image Group - Nominated & Juried by fellow artists 8/25/17
This piece is composed of many layers. My goal was the appearance of rust or decaying metal. Pink, "flesh-tone", brown, bronze and a metallic light blue are the colors used. The metallic catches the light and the light blue is opalescent in appearance. In places a medium that cracks as it cures is added. Texture is within the rest of the piece in small grains similar to sand.
Conversation piece for sure!! Can easily be orientated in any way desired. Looks great with "Beauty of Decay"!
