#5 in my series of pure abstract paintings; this piece I chose to use red, white and blue. Geometric influence and organically created. Texture with a lighter shade of red created with yarn lastly. Contemporary and patriotic!

Fantastic blocks of red, white, and blue, artfully arranged. I love the vertical of swirly, free-form red that contrasts so starkly with the linear aspects of the rest of the piece. This was one of my two pod's in the Best of Minimalism group for August 25.
