Artist's Description
3rd piece in a triptych I was commissioned to create. Inspired by my piece Nautical Dreams.
Various mediums were used, as well as techniques to create interesting and varying areas of texture. Metallic paint gives added shine and interest. Usage of rope, washers, bolts, springs, etc. bring an industrial feel, and the rope that calming nautical feel.

Well, hello beautiful Jilian, super mom. This is the first time I see you selling one of your great pieces. my sincere congratulations, my lady. I saw something funny in a gift shop the other day. First of all, I love Abstract Art for the mind play of interpreting what I see. I love how you've created, to me anyway, the effect of aluminum combine with other splashes, such as a rope. What I see here is the base of a mast for a sailboat. Wonderful! L/F
