Title
Internal Opposition aka Maze n Blue
Artist
Jilian Cramb - AMothersFineArt
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
Utilizing texture and complimentary colors, I was able to put my feelings of confliction I had internally, onto canvas to manifest beautifully. The internal fights that so often occur in my mind.
Half of this piece gradates from black to gray, the other cream to a muted yellow. Highlights, of random brush strokes, of bright blue and a dark muted yellow add interest. The cream contains a coarse textured medium which creates texture, interest and catches the light. Can easily be hung in any orientation.
The alternative name for this piece would be Maze n Blue - as it is the colors of University of Michigan. Go blue!

Jilian, I love the fluid movement, like an underwater fountain, pulsing water into the night, lights creating a sparkling effect. Beautifully done and very creative. FL
